What does this mean to you? Many graphic design agencies copyright their work, which means that even after you pay for the design, you do not own it. So if you ever decide to go with another firm, none of what you have done can be used. Design By J is a "work for hire" firm, which means once you pay for your design, it is yours. While we strive for long-term working relationships with all our clients, if for any reason you ever choose to go with another company, we will provide you with all the files and art you have paid for on a DVD (or two or more). We simply charge a small fee to cover the time to retrieve all your files from backups, drop them to disk, and send them to you.
